TWO BOYS IN LAND O LAKES LOOKING FOR MENTORS
A friendship-based one-on-one mentoring program for children ages 6-18 who lost a parent in military service. Supported by trained staff and designed to pair youth with a trusted adult for long-term support.
Tuesday’s Children Youth Mentoring program is designed to be a long-term support for children and their families while they navigate life after losing a loved one in military service. Borne from our Youth Mentoring program that served children who lost a parent on September 11th, 2001, this program provides a meaningful connection with a trusted adult to foster healing and post-traumatic growth.
Volunteer mentors are recruited, screened, trained and managed by our professional staff to ensure the safety and security of everyone involved. Matches are made based on common interests, personality traits, location, and schedules.

Throughout the year, across the country, we bring families together with others who understand their journey, building a supportive community and creating life-long connections.
Virtual and in-person programs that provide guided connection and support within a peer community. Speakers and workshops for the broader community on healing and resilience are also offered.
Our programs are designed to support families through community. With various engagements across the country and online, children and adults are welcome to explore our programs and engage in on their own terms. Our dedicated staff works with families to navigate options and resources available through Tuesday’s Children and partner organizations.
Offering families guidance and support to both programs and services offered by Tuesday’s Children and those offered by our network of partners.
