Event Sponsorship
Each quarter, American Legion Post 108 concentrates its efforts on one of the American Legion's four foundational pillars. The Post features one main event and many minor events, fundraisers, and gatherings each quarter.
Based on sponsorship level, companies, organizations, and individuals are included in our Post's marketing and promotion of events and initiatives. Our supporters are granted website & social media exposure, automatic event sponsorships, booth space at major events, and free event tickets.
Our Post Sponsors are integral to our local reach and community interaction. While we share and promote our Sponsors, they have an opportunity to promote their business through our extensive digital, print, radio, and community reach.
The Four Pillars Initiative
By sponsoring Post 108, you will be part of our year-long initiative to support the American Legion's four foundational pillars. These large-scale events unite American Legion members, their families, the community, and local businesses and organizations.
Each quarter, your company will not only participate in the event's marketing and promotion but also present itself at our sponsor vendor fair, where you can meet and interact with our veteran, service-member, and first-responder communities.
Sponsorship enables companies to participate in major veteran / service-member-focused events each quarter without allocating staff for planning and execution—just show up!
Post 108 events are where collaborations are born, new missions are set, and great friendships are made.

The Post 108 Quarter One Pillar Event is our Annual Post 108 Golf Tournament, held yearly at the award-winning Plantation Palms Golf Club in Land O'Lakes, Florida.
Hundreds participate each year in this incredible event, which raises money for the American Legion Post 108's Veteran Affairs and rehabilitation Initiatives.
Post-sponsors enjoy full promotional marketing pre-event, event day, and post-event, and will receive free tickets to play in the tournament. Sponsors are invited to set up table to greet the tournament players, volunteers, and supporters.

The Post 108 Quarter Two Pillar Event has Post 108 teaming up with Learn & Serve Tampa for a Global Youth Services Day event at Lutz Community Cemetery in Lutz, Florida.
All children and youth are invited to join Boy Scout Troop 366 and the Sea Cadet Corps. Victory Division as they initiate a cemetery historian project and place American Flags on the gravesites of American Heroes in honor of Memorial Day.

The Post 108 Quarter Three Pillar Event has Post 108 teaming up with Learn & Serve Tampa for its 3rd Annual 911 Memorial Event. This is an unforgettable event successful in bringing the entire community together to place 2977 placards for every person lost on September 11, 2001.
The event is a perfect opportunity for volunteer groups to come out and work together to place the memory placards, while local students prepare biographies and place them throughout the day.

December 13, 2025
The Post 108 Quarter Four Pillar Event sees Post 108 team up with the Florida Veterans Coalition and Wreaths Across America to honor the 200+ Veterans laid to rest at the local Lutz Community Cemetery.
The event is a perfect opportunity for volunteer groups to come out and work together to place the wreaths and enjoy a remembrance ceremony in honor of all veterans and service members.
